Ningbo, China – The Annual Lubricant Conference, organized by the Lubricant Information Center, was held in Ningbo this year from September 18-20, 2007. More than 180 participants from all over China and several countries overseas attended. More than 15 papers were presented about a wide variety of topics in the lubricating oil industry.

One of the major speakers was Ted Selby of Tannas Co., one of the leading companies in lubricant testing and instrumentation. Mr. Selby presented a joint paper by Tannas and Degussa, RohMax on “Low-Temperature Performance of Chinese Automotive Engine Oils – Status and Perspectives”. The paper was well-received and was awarded top honors at the end of the conference.

Tannas is represented in China by Universal Technology.
